MODALITIES

OPEN MTB

This modality is individual and open. It allows you to participate with a MTB. For the overall result, the times of the three stages of the event are added up, and the classification is done by category: female and male.

Duo by Gender MTB

Two cyclists of any age and the same gender. Categories will be managed based on the sum of the ages of both participants. For the overall classification, the times of both team members will be added up per stage.

Mixed Duo MTB

Two cyclists of any age and different genders. Categories will be managed based on the sum of the ages of both participants. For the overall classification, the times of both team members will be added up per stage.

Open E-Bike

NON-COMPETITIVE: The electric bike category allows the participation of any mountain bike equipped with a pedal-assist electric system. This format is included in the event but is not considered within the competitive categories, so no awards will be given to the winners in this category.

CATEGORIES

For the Duo modalities, classification will be as follows:

UNDER 39 YEARS

40 TO 49 YEARS

50 TO 59 YEARS

60 TO 69 YEARS

70 TO 79 YEARS

80 TO 99 YEARS

100 TO 119 YEARS

120 AND OLDER

82-DSC05719

Example: One team member is 25 years old, and the other member is 30 years old; their ages sum up to 55 years. Therefore, they will have to participate in the 50 to 59 years category.

  • Individual modalities are open, so everyone enters the same category.

  • For a category to take place or have an award, there must be a minimum of 5 registered pairs. In case there are not enough participants, younger age categories move up to the next older one. For example, if there are no participants in the under 39 category, they will compete in the 40 to 49 years category.

  • The competitor's age will be considered as of December 31, 2024.
